Personal Pronouns
I

WE
Now, as you know the personal pronouns I, YOU, THEY, WE are plural and HE, SHE, IT are singular
We use the auxiliar DO / DON'T for PLURALS
We use the auxiliar DOES / DOESN'T for SINGULAR
Structure
Affirmative: Subject + Verb inf + Complement. *3th persons add an S at the end of the verb
Negative: Subject + Auxiliar in the NEGATIVE form + Verb inf + Complement.
Questions: Auxiliar + Subject + Verb inf + Complement + ?
Examples
Affirmative
- I play the piano every day.
- She jumps very high.
- They sing in a church.
- You run very fast.
- He exercises every morning.
- We eat pizza in the park.
- The dog sleeps all day.
Negative
- You don't watch TV.
- She doesn't know how to read.
- I don't have homework.
- He doesn't like ice-cream.
- They don't understand the problem.
- We don't buy new clothes.
- The cat doesn't eat carrots.
Question
- Do you study math?
- Does she like pizza?
- Do they travel to Spain?
- Does he love me?
- Does the car work?
